Will The Injustices Never Cease

Vista is just in turmoil in every step it takes.  Now Symantec hurls a torpedo at Microsoft to inhibit Vista from going on sale.   Symantec has accused Microsoft of the misapproriation of intellectual property and alleging breach of contract over a licensing deal with Symantec's newly purchased Veritas technology.

Symantec strives toward an injunction to block the sale of Vista until the breach is corrected.  In the suit, Symantec claims that Microsoft’s "pervasive and continuing disregard of Symantec's intellectual property and contract rights has irreparably harmed Symantec and constitutes trade secret misappropriation" .

According to Microsoft there claim has no merit.  However, didn't DoubleSpace by Stac Electronics' have a similar complaint in the 80's?   Microsoft apparently infringed on Stac Electronics disk compression IP resulting in halting DOS 6.0's sales.  Seems, Microsoft maybe keeping old tricks alive in well in their enormouse bag of SoftWAR Tacticts.
