I looked at the Nook, my first impression is it's cheap, user interface is miserable and the system is slow.
The Kindle is a better solution when considering either device. The Nook's color screen, well, it does'nt do much for the device. In either case Im not spending the $250.00. The only decision made is to wait, te technology will work itself out. The audio is desirable but no bluetooth so Im further away from either model. The iPad seems like a reasonable tool, but can determine if it makes sense to shed $500+ bills for it not having one for at least a day.
I just don't think the experience is there yet, for me. For now I carry a laptop I can read PDF's well and no valid reason to part with $259 for the e-readers. iPad's not out and I won't really consider it until iPad 2.0. As far as "Jones'in' for any of the devices I just lost the lust....
The devices are just not their yet, save your money and see what the industry delves out 4th quarter to resurge your desire's again.
